Airy rooms with fresh design. Many things to like: large bed, splendid food, efficient staff. Nice area, central location just next door to St Andrews, city centre, and the taxi.

It was clean, breakfast was absolutely superb and fantastic. I loved nicely decorated rooms with king size bed and friendly professional staff. A storage, a balcony and an adjoining terrace were a huge plus. Everything was very good, great value...

I enjoyed my stay with cozy rooms and excellent meal options, particularly the breakfast that was freshly prepared. The shower pressure was low and the drink prices at the bar felt a bit high. This place is great for those looking for good food and a warm atmosphere, but some improvements in amenities would enhance the experience.

The venue's position was central. On arrival the room was huge.
Didn't like the area, it was unwelcoming.

The location was ideal amazing in the summer given the gardens. The rooms were well-equipped, with a storage space, a lounge area and a patio, great bed.

The cozy atmosphere was inviting, yet the room was quite small for two.

It was quiet and peaceful and the car parking area was safe and secure.
Not as clean and fresh as we would have liked - would not rate it as 4 star.

Check-in was a breeze, with staff walking me to my room and giving great local tips. I loved relaxing on the sun terrace and catching some rays while enjoying a drink from the bar. The only hiccup was that the room could have had a few more towels, but it didn’t really dampen my stay. 😊

Loved our Deluxe Suite (Number 22) which had a more luxurious feeling of a home away from home. Very comfortable, clean and well equipped. Warm, friendly and very accommodating staff. Delicious food and great service. Perfect Location, smack bang in the countryside which was very peaceful and relaxing, with only a short 10 min drive into St Andrews for Shopping, Sight Seeing, Beaches, Restaurants and Nightlife. Thank you for having us and we will definitely be back!! :-)
Think there needs to be more vegetarian options on the breakfast menu, however in saying that, the staff were very quick to accommodate to my needs.

The executive room was great and the views etc.
The restaurant was a bit disappointing. We were at the 9.15 sitting and the staff seemed in a hurry to leave. While we were sitting in the bar, they hoovered the restaurant whih was loud and annoying. Breakfast was a disappointment. Old toasted that doesn't work well, bacon really bad, potato scone really bad. A real pity because I love the rooms and views.

Lovely ambience of Main Hotel, excellent food, both dinner and breakfast.
Rooms in need of updating, old tv, furnishings not in keeping, heated towel rail not working, unamble to get into bath as shower screen didn't open. No house wine on menu no bottle of wine for less than £20

Couples looking for unique experiences
The room was upgraded to a nice quiet spot tucked away from the noise, had a jacuzzi bath that was lovely. The staff couldn't do enough for us, always checking if we needed anything.
It wasn't cheap, but honestly, the experience was well worth it.
